Supporta score success at inaugural Ceretas awards

Supporta Care Ltd employee Gloria Tilley scooped the award for Home Care Worker of the Year (Midlands) at the first ever Ceretas National Home Care Awards in London. She was joined on the nominee list by her colleague Liz Messenger.

Nomination was a fantastic achievement for Gloria and Liz and out of the 50 nominations in this category the judges chose Gloria because of what they called her "impressive commitment to caring for her service users" - adding that Gloria "recognised the importance of continuous training as well as team work providing vital support".

The awards were part of a black tie gala dinner, designed to recognise the achievements of people working in Home Care across the country.

Sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland and CM2000, this is a national event with Department of Health backing and received nominations and support from all corners of the sector.
