Supporta adds 400 staff in Scottish care deal

Supporta plc has bought Strathaven Nursing Homes Ltd (SNH), and subsidiary companies Cringan Care Services Limited (known as Community Careline Services) and Talismont Limited.

The deal is part of Supporta's successful expansion strategy in the Scottish Care market.

Following the acquisition, Supporta has five offices in Scotland and 26 offices in total throughout the UK. The company's care division provides approximately 50,000 care hours per week, and employs over 1900.

Allan Cringan will continue to manage SNH and its subsidiary companies. However, the companies will begin to trade under the name of Supporta Care Scotland.
